Oliver Lock (UNSW)

 

Currently a PhD Candidate at UNSW, Oliver has already achieved significant grounding as a thought leader, technologist, consultant, teacher and innovative researcher in the smart cities movement both in Australia and internationally. Oliver is a committed, driven, equipped young leader who is well-placed to drive the digital transformation of cities across Australia.

  • Rebecca Jacobs (Randwick City Council): Since 2017, Rebecca has been the Smart City Lead at Randwick City Council, when her advocacy and leadership was instrumental in the decision for Council to prepare a Smart City Strategy to guide Council’s investment and decision-making in smart city initiatives. As a Senior Strategic Planner at Randwick City Council, Rebecca has enthusiastically embraced smart cities as a new body of work.
